Riedell Skates has been advancing ice and roller skating through hand-crafted, in-house construction and design since 1945. During my internship in 2022, I conducted quantitative and qualitative market research and product testing to inform design decisions, independently modelled roller and ice skate parts using SOLIDWORKS, and collaborated with graphic designers, product development teams, and manufacturers to bring products to market. My most prominent project was designing and prototyping a roller skate slide block for aggressive park roller skating.
